Many years of experience in the corporate world, first as an Account Executive at a large advertising firm and thereafter as Marketing and Communications Manager in an affiliated arm of Nature Conservation stood me in good stead when I decided to start up the company in 2000.
All the experienced gained in strategic planning and direct marketing came in very handy when writing up the business plan for View-a-Home.co.za to ensure that, although a small company by most standards, we made an impact straight away and remain a company of note even after 17 years.
We work exclusively by referral and have a valuable database of clients whom we communicate with on a regular basis, ensuring that they are kept up to date on movements in the property industry. Currently about 90% of our business is generated as a direct result of our referral business.
We have built up a network of reputable agencies over the years and share our mandates to ensure that our properties are sold within the shortest possible time and with the least disruption to our Sellers. Furthermore, we have associated ourselves with the best in the industry as far as conveyancers and bond originators are concerned to ensure that every transaction runs smoothly.
It is easy to lead a team who is as passionate about our industry as I am and strive to live up to our motto of "the right house, at the right price, to the right buyer in the right location".
After many years in retail as top salesman with a leading company, I joined the View-a-Home team to put my years of experience to the test. I am enjoying the industry tremendously as it still affords me the opportunity to communicate on a one on one basis with people each and every day, put my training to the test daily and at the same time be part of a small but dynamic team.
